A fantastic turnout of 40 competitors took part today in dry, occasionally bright and relatively still conditions for the “Old New Year” shoot today.

Competition:

High Gun was Paul Chalmers  with 50/147

2^nd place was Derek Street with 49/146

3^rd place was Eric MacAlistair on 49/143

Pool Trap:

Recent rain left the pool trap stand sinking into the peat- the target getting lower and lower as the day progressed! However Paul Chalmers was the only shooter to hit all 8 targets – on three occasions – even with the low target presentation, and he walked away with the Whisky
