A healthy turnout of 6 squads attended the 2x25DTL open shoot today. The pool trap and 10-pair double-rise tournaments both proved popular too.
Competition:
High Gun was Gregor Crawford on 49/144
2nd place was Peter Davidson on 48/141
3rd place was Steve Wilson on 48/139
Pool Trap:
The pool trap proved popular today.
5 guns broke 8 of 8 targets, and going into the shootoff, Eric MacAlister had achieved this 4 times! Needless to say this consistent shooting was rightly rewarded by his win in the shootoff.
Double Rise:
A first for the club in recent times, the pool trap and main trap were set to fire simultaneously from the acoustics, for a quick 10-pair double-rise competition at the end of the day. This was won by Peter Davidson.
